Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Zetto Hopper app (hereby referred to as "Application") created by the Developer (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad-Supported app. This service is provided for use "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application collects and processes certain data to ensure gameplay functionality, leaderboard integrity, and ad delivery. The specific data collected includes:

• Device Information: Information about your device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (Advertising ID) to facilitate advertising and analytics.
• Game Data: We store your game progress locally, including your current "Lives" count and high scores.
• Anonymized Leaderboard Data: We generate a random pseudonym (Nickname) and a unique anonymous User ID (UID) to display your ranking on the public leaderboard. No real names, emails, or personal contact information are collected.
• Approximate Location: The Application uses third-party services (ipinfo.io) to detect your country code based on your IP address. This is used solely to display your country flag on the global leaderboard. We do not store your precise location.

2. Third-Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies about handling data.

3. Advertising (AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob uses the Advertising ID to serve personalized ads based on your interests. You may opt-out of personalized advertising by adjusting the settings on your Android device (Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization).

The app displays:

• Banner Ads: Small ads displayed at the bottom of the screen only during specific menu interactions (e.g., when viewing the Leaderboard or submitting a score). To ensure an immersive experience, no banner ads are displayed during active gameplay.
• Rewarded Video Ads: Optional full-screen ads that users can choose to watch to obtain in-game rewards (e.g., reviving lives).

4. Hardware Permissions

The Application requires specific permissions to function correctly:

• INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to load ads, save high scores to the database, and verify connectivity.
• VIBRATE: Required to provide haptic feedback when the player hits an obstacle or interacts with game elements.

5. Data Retention, Anonymity & Deletion

The Application uses local storage on your device to save your game state. Data stored on our servers (Leaderboard scores) is retained indefinitely to maintain the global ranking history.

Because all data collected (such as the system-generated Nickname and UID) is strictly anonymous and not linked to any identifiable personal information (like an email address or real name), the Service Provider cannot verify the real-world identity of any user. Therefore, we do not process manual data deletion requests via email, as it is technically impossible to securely prove ownership of any specific anonymous leaderboard record. If you wish to reset your local data, you can clear the Application's cache/data or uninstall it from your device.

6. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be immediately deleted from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider.

7. Security

The Service Provider values your trust in providing your Information and strives to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. The Application implements Firebase App Check to prevent cheating and unauthorized access to the database.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Service Provider may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
