Cooking Note is designed as a utility tool for cooking enthusiasts. We prioritize local data storage to ensure your privacy.

• Personal Data: We do NOT collect any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) on our servers. Any name you enter in the settings is stored locally on your device only.
• Cooking Data: All recipes, Grocery lists, and cost estimations are stored locally on your device using internal storage. We do not have access to your private recipes or notes.

2. Internet Connection & Advertisements

To keep this application free for everyone, Cooking Note requires an active internet connection to function correctly.

• AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain data, such as your device's advertising ID and approximate location (IP-based), to provide relevant ads.
• Strict Internet Check: The app includes a mandatory internet check system. If no internet connection is detected, the app's functionality will be restricted by an overlay until a connection is restored. This is to ensure the fair support of our development through the advertisement system.

3. Permissions

The app requires the following permissions to provide its features:

• Internet Access: Required to load advertisements and verify app status.
• Notifications: Used to provide "Shopping Reminders" (Local Notifications) for your planned grocery trips. These notifications are generated locally on your device and do not involve any external servers.

4. Data Safety & Third-Party Services

While we do not collect your data directly, our third-party partner (Google AdMob) may collect:

• Location: Approximate location (for localized ads).
• Device IDs: Advertising ID and device info.
• App Interaction: Analytics regarding ad performance and clicks.

5. Local Storage & Backups

All your data (recipes, shopping notes, and settings) stays on your phone. If you uninstall the application or clear the app data, all saved information will be permanently deleted as we do not keep backups on any server.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. All data processing is done locally on the user's device.
